Transitioning Your Cat to cleanprotein™

The right diet can go a long way for improving your cat’s health. That’s why choosing a biologically appropriate food is ideal for rounding out your feline’s care routine. Inspired by the protein levels found in your cat’s natural prey, Dr. Elsey’s cleanprotein™ was created to recognize the importance of a protein-based feline diet. Available in a variety of dry kibble and canned paté formulas, cleanprotein™ is grain-free and gluten-free* with high-quality meat or fish as the first ingredient.

Considering a switch to cleanprotein™? Follow these tips on how to ease your cat into a new food to ensure a successful transition:

Food Mixing

Making the transition from your cat’s current food to cleanprotein™ should be done gradually to prevent any digestive upsets. Over the course of 7-10 days, you will be adding a little more Dr. Elsey’s cleanprotein™ to your cat’s bowl each day while gradually decreasing your cat’s current food until the switch is complete.

Feeding Guide

Please use the information on the back of the packaging as an initial recommendation and adjust the amount of food served based on the age, size and activity level of your cat. Offer up to two times the recommended daily feeding for kittens and up to four times the recommended amount for female cats during gestation and lactation. Both cleanprotein™ dry kibble and canned paté should be kept at room temperature. Promptly refrigerate the unused portion of cleanprotein™ canned paté. Fresh water should be available at all times.

Prepare to see the energy-boosting difference for yourself! Promote a healthy, active lifestyle while controlling hunger with the high-quality ingredients found in Dr. Elsey’s cleanprotein™.
