Dr. Elsey’s, a veterinarian-owned premium cat litter and cat food company is looking for a Customer Service Manager to join our team. In this role you will manage customer issues and assist in a variety of office duties. This role is full-time and on-site at our company headquarters in Cheyenne, WY.
Customer Service Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming phone calls and emails from customers
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and follow up to ensure resolution
- Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
- Ability and willingness to become a cat expert and an expert on our products in order to assist customers
- Go the extra mile to engage customers
- Manage our shelter and breeder programs and help logistics facilitate deliveries
Requirements
- Pet Industry experience highly desirable
- Experience as a Vet Tech or Vet Tech student is a bonus
- Experience with cats or cat ownership is preferred
- Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Must have a strong background working in Excel. Maintaining and developing spreadsheets will be a daily activity
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction/oversight – self-starter mentality
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
